Ryan Garcia has reversed his stance on Prime Energy drinks after Logan Paul’s company sued the outspoken boxer for defamation. Garcia issued a statement apologizing directly to Paul, saying he feels bad about the ongoing legal battle. This is because he has known the Paul family for years, and now this is too much for Garcia to go through with.
As such, during an interview with Ana Paula Saenz, Garcia apologized to Paul directly. This only happened after Prime Hydration filed a defamation suit against Garcia following King Ryan’s comments on Instagram Live. The boxer had been actively claiming that the energy drink was unhealthy and that it was slowly killing people. Furthermore, KingRy even bizarrely claimed that Paul and Prime work for Satan. Garcia’s comments affected the company’s sales, which prompted them to take action against him.
I’ll drink this sh*t right now. That’s just bomb as f*ck. I love you, bro. I’m done with this fighting sh*t.Ryan Garcia via during an interview with Ana Paula Saenz
Subsequently, the young boxer took a sip of the drink to advocate for it after all his comments. Garcia is well-known for his trolling, which he acknowledged was part of his game plan before his recent bout with Devin Haney.
Hence, it’s reasonable to assume that Garcia’s comments on Prime were part of his overall campaign of harassment. In addition, since Paul decided to take legal action against him, Garcia changed his stance to avoid paying a substantial sum of money and to avoid legal action.
Ryan Garcia and Jake Paul’s beef
Garcia’s ongoing beef with Logan’s brother, Jake Paul, adds to the drama. Since March, he has challenged Paul in a series of X posts after the announcement of the Mike Tyson fight. Furthermore, Garcia took credit for introducing and teaching the Paul brothers about boxing before their celebrity boxing careers.
Furthermore, KingRy claimed that he wanted to end his career since he was responsible for starting it. This, of course, got the attention of Paul, who later responded to him. Subsequently, The Problem Child suggested that he would easily defeat Ryan Garcia in a fight. This caused their back-and-forth to continue.
Garcia also offered to fight Paul in July if Tyson was unable to compete. This was after the former champion had a medical emergency on a flight from Miami to LA over the weekend. However, Tyson’s camp said he was fine despite the incident, and the fight is still going forward as planned.
