Ryan Garcia has been all over the place with his antics on social media. This includes making absurd revelations, beefing with celebrities, and calling out fighters. As such, Garcia has now directed his focus to the four-division champion, Naoya Inoue. While KingRy has discussed the prospect of fighting Naoya previously, his current callout had a colorful choice of words.

This all started when Inoue was asked about the possibility of fighting in America. In response, he announced that the lightweight division’s home is now Japan. Furthermore, the Japanese boxer said that if he has to fight, he will fight in Japan. Inoue Naoya also stated that he would love to come to America only if there is a bigger fight than the ones he can have in Japan. Garcia responded to this on social media:

Respect, I'd come to Japan to f*ck your little a*s up.

Garcia responded quickly and with his usual swagger, but this time he didn’t hold back. The American is willing to take on Inoue in Japan. He also seems very confident in his ability to defeat the Japanese on enemy turf.

Garcia’s direct challenge seems like a calculated attempt to take control of a division that Inoue considers his own. This would only make sense if he wins his upcoming fight against Devin Haney.

Gervonta Davis might also fight Inoue Naoya

Garcia is not the only one who can potentially fight Inoue since Gervonta Davis might also be his potential opponent. This was hinted at when Showtime’s Stephen Espinoza spoke about the fight and discussed the chances of it happening.

After demolishing Stephen Fulton, “The Monster” was named the number 2 ranked boxer in the world by ESPN. Furthermore, Espinoza believes he can achieve a lot in this sport with his skills and resilience. The promoter also brought up how there is only a 13-pound difference between Davis and Inoue.

It's only 13 pounds more. I'd love to see Tank vs. Inoue after that performance

The fight is surely an exciting match-up, as both fighters are known for having tremendous power as lightweight boxers. The Japanese boxer has a record of 26-0 and 23 KOs. Similarly, Gervonta Davis has a record of 29-0 with 27 KOs. As such, a battle of the undefeated would be a great spectacle for the sport.

In case you missed it!
