The rivalry between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis is far from over. Garcia recently showed up at the MGM Grand Garden Arena to witness Davis’s knockout victory over Frank Martin. It was Davis’s fourth successful WBA lightweight title defense. After the fight despite the rivalry, Garcia and Davis showed some unexpected bromance after the fight.

After Gervonta Davis’ impressive victory, Ryan Garcia congratulated him. Soon, the two fighters respectfully embraced each other. The center of attention, though, was Garcia’s “rematch me b***h” t-shirt. Gervonta Davis burst out laughing as soon as he saw the t-shirt, and they had a fantastic time conversing with each other.

Garcia and Davis fought each other back in April 2023. The blockbuster bout saw ’Tank’ outclassing Garcia and dropping him in the seventh round to win via TKO. However, since that fight, ‘KingRy’ has bounced back with consecutive victories. The latest of them came against super lightweight champion Devin Haney.

To even the score, Garcia eagerly awaits his rematch with Davis. A rematch would be spectacular since Garcia and Davis are two of the biggest names in boxing. However, only time will tell whether Garcia gets his chance. On the other hand, it wasn’t the only highlight of Garcia’s visit to the MGM Grand Garden Arena. 

Ryan Garcia makes wild remarks about Caleb Plant’s partner after their altercation at the Davis vs. Martin fight 

Ryan Garcia has started yet another beef within the combat sports community. This time, it’s none other than former IBF super middleweight champion Caleb Plant. The heated social media rivalry started over Plant’s comments on Garcia’s failed drug test results. However, things didn’t end there and took an unexpected turn.

Both Plant and Garcia came face to face at the Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin event after Plant threw beer at Garcia as he passed by. This led to an altercation. After that, Garcia went on X and made some NSFW comments about Plant.

The altercation was about to take a nasty turn, but the officials carefully maintained control. Both fighters are clearly angry at each other despite not coming to fully-fledged blows. Nevertheless, it was quite an eventful weekend for the boxing fans. It would be interesting to see how things shape between the fighters in the future.
