Ryan Garcia is undoubtedly one of the most talked-about names in the boxing world. Over the past few months, the 26-year-old superstar has been involved in several controversies, which led him to step back from the sport. As he looks to make his comeback soon, Garcia has named a few top potential opponents, including Jake Paul and Sean O’Malley.
The controversial boxing superstar was suspended for his involvement with banned substances. Ryan Garcia faced Devin Haney in April of this year and tested positive for ostarine. As a result, the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) imposed a year-long ban on the 26-year-old boxer. However, as the end of his suspension approaches, Garcia has compiled a list of potential opponents for his next fight.
’King Ry’ specifically identified YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul as someone he would like to face after his suspension. The 26-year-old boxer expressed his displeasure with Paul for fighting against 58-year-old Mike Tyson. Garcia wants to seek revenge on Paul for that matchup.
Additionally, King Ry mentioned a few other names he would consider for future bouts. Along with a potential rematch against Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney, Garcia also wanted to face off against a UFC superstar. The 26-year-old boxing star has had an ongoing rivalry with former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley for several months now.

Both fighters are confident about defeating each other in their respective combat sports. Interestingly, Garcia is considering a fight against O’Malley as an option after his suspension ends. Despite being in the middle of his suspension, King Ry is scheduled for a boxing match in December.
Ryan Garcia is set to fight in December against Rukiya Anpo
Since his debut in 2016, Ryan Garcia has defeated several formidable opponents, generating significant hype around his career. However, that hype took a hit after his defeat to Gervonta Davis and a failed drug test related to his fight with Devin Haney. Interestingly, despite currently being under suspension, Garcia is still eligible to participate in exhibition matches.
A few months ago, King Ry made an appearance at the boxing legend Manny Pacquiao’s exhibition fight in Japan. Soon, Garcia expressed his displeasure with Pacquiao’s opponent, Rukiya Anpo, for competing against the boxing legend. The 26-year-old stated his desire to knock out Anpo. It seems Garcia will get his chance, as he is scheduled to face the Japanese kickboxer Anpo in an exhibition bout this December.

The PPV event featuring Garcia and Anpo is organized by Fanmio and Rizin. The two fighters will face off under exhibition rules in Tokyo. Reports indicate that the match will consist of eight rounds, with each round lasting two minutes.
However, since this is an exhibition bout, the rounds will not be judged, and there will be no official winner unless a knockout occurs. Garcia has expressed his desire to knock Anpo out. It will be intriguing to see how this fight unfolds.
