Ryan Garcia vs. Devin Haney is only 10 days away now. Both fighters are nearing the end of their training camp and have begun to show glimpses of their progress through media workouts. A few days ago, Haney carried out his media workout, where he showed his impressive skills. However, his rival doesn’t seem to be impressed and fired shots at him during his own media workout.
Garcia’s media workout was more expressive and had more entertaining moments. KingRy initially indulged in some intense pad work with his trainer, Derrick James. After this, he proceeded to shadowbox and hit the heavy bag with his thunderous shots. Subsequently, Garcia took time to throw shade at his opponent’s power after this and stated:

Oscar De La Hoya decided to attend Haney’s media workout. As such, during the media workout, Haney flaunted his power and skills in front of the promoter, and he even stated that he would beat Garcia. KingRy, of course, took notice of this and claimed that people were hyping him up.
Furthermore, he dismissed Haney’s media workout as a ‘weak’ performance and claimed that he could teach a 12-year-old to punch harder. This was part of the common narrative that Haney did not possess the power to knock out his opponents.
Garcia fires back at Haney for comparing him to Jake Paul
Garcia’s throwing shade at Haney’s media workout was not the only bone he had to pick with his opponent. As such, KingRy addressed Haney’s recent comments, where he stated that he suggested that Paul is a better boxer compared to Garcia.
Haney did this when he was asked about whether or not Ryan Garcia would pose a threat to him during the fight. However, The Dream dismissed this notion and claimed that Paul is closer to him in terms of skills than Garcia. Kingry fired back at this comment by stating:

Garcia called his opponent an idiot for comparing him to a celebrity boxer who entered the sport four years ago. Furthermore, KingRy also stated that Haney should get a mental evaluation instead of him.
