Ryan Garcia shocked the world on April 20 after his stunning victory over Devin Haney. ‘KingRy’ broke the internet after this and has made headlines since the fight. Many people accused him of cheating because of his weight advantage. However, his victory is now being questioned for a completely different reason. This happened after reports emerged that he tested positive in a VADA test.
The banned substance that Garcia tested positive for was ostarine, which is a PED that has muscle-building properties. Garcia denied these claims and believed people conspired against him to take away his victory. Subsequently, he took this opportunity again to show his antics on social media and troll people. Garcia did this with a spree of erratic and random tweets on X.

After claiming to be Jesus on steroids, Garcia stated that he was definitely homosexual if he tested positive. ‘KingRy’ also accused the rapper Diddy of paying for the drug test, allegedly. In addition, he claimed the accusation of using drugs came after being spotted with Donald Trump in public. Garcia continued to troll the idea of him using steroids with several condescending tweets.
After that, KingRy went back to denying and justifying why he would not cheat. He brought up how he would not be willing to do a drug test if he was using drugs. Furthermore, Ryan Garcia mentioned that the test was done before the fight, but the negative results came out after it. Hence, he suggested that this was a conspiracy to take away his victory.
Ryan Garcia denies claims in a video
According to boxing reporters Dan Rafael and Mike Coppinger of ESPN, Garcia’s drug test results showed the presence of ostarine. Now, Garcia has ten days to request a retest by providing another sample. Furthermore, the young boxer is actively denying that he cheated before the fight.
After making a spree of tweets, Garcia also uploaded a video to address the matter. He stated that everyone knows that he does not cheat. Furthermore, he questioned how the results did not emerge before the fight if the test was taken before April 20.
Hence, Garcia questioned why they would let a cheater step inside the ring if they knew about it. Furthermore, His victory against Devin Haney might have a no-contest ruling if Garcia cannot prove his innocence. It remains to be seen what happens next in the saga.
