Ryan Garcia has broken all expectations after his performance against Devin Haney. The two amateur boxing rivals met inside the ring for the seventh time, but this time as professional boxers. Furthermore, this fight was a tiebreaker since their previous fights ended with them winning three and losing three against each other. What makes Garcia’s victory more interesting has surely been his erratic behavior and alcohol consumption.
The young boxer has had a questionable presence on social media throughout the buildup to the fight. This was seen through his erratic social media posts, which raised questions about his mental health. However, a vast majority of people suspected Garcia of suffering from substance abuse, which was causing his concerning behavior. At the post-fight press conference, KingRy addressed this and stated:

Before the fight, Garcia admitted to consuming alcohol and weed during the pre-fight press conference. This was a subtle jab at his critics for doubting him throughout the buildup to the fight.
