On the latest episode of WWE Raw, a racially insensitive remark from Carlito garnered attention online. After Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane, both Japanese wrestlers talked to GM Adam Pearce, Carlito entered the fray and said that he should learn Chinese. This line received divided opinions from fans on social media. Joining in on the discussion was Ryback

The former WWE Superstar took to X to claim that those who were offended by Carlito’s remark will be the ones to vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. By the looks of it, Ryback found The Judgment Day member’s ‘joke’ on Raw harmless. Additionally, he continues to publicly endorse Donald Trump by taking shots at the Democrats.

Following Trump’s collab with The Undertaker and Kane, Ryback made it perfectly clear where he stood. Ahead of the upcoming presidential elections, the wrestling world has gradually begun indulging itself in politics. While Ryback and the Brothers of Destruction are pro-Trump, the likes of Mick Foley and Jim Cornette have lambasted the former POTUS.

Foley questioned Trump’s legitimacy as the ideal candidate to vote for after the latter asked whether wrestling actually hurts. Meanwhile, Cornette berated Undertaker and Kane for tarnishing their reputations by joining forces with Trump.

Another notable name who has been vocal about Trump is wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista. Not only did the former WWE Champion publicly endorse Harris-Walz, but he launched scathing remarks at Trump. Batista called out the Hall of Famer for his opinions on masculinity, asking voters to choose wisely.

Was Carlito’s racially insensitive line on WWE Raw scripted?

Both Carlito and WWE received significant backlash for the backstage segment on Raw. Many were curious as to who greenlit the remark. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful provided an update on the situation, revealing that at least one WWE staff member stated that the line was unscripted.

Furthermore, personnel were unhappy with what had transpired. In another update, Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio claimed that Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane were fine with the remark. Alvarez added that the Damage CTRL duo saw it as Carlito being dumb due to his on-screen character.

Last week, reports suggested that the 45-year-old would soon be removed from The Judgment Day. Since joining the group, Carlito has been insignificant to the storylines. Needless to say, the ad-lib on Raw certainly won’t help his stance within the company.
