“Beyond reckless,” Former WWE star lambasts CM Punk for being an unsafe worker after causing serious harm to Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood
A former Intercontinental Champion has blasted CM Punk for leaving Drew McIntyre busted open during their gruesome match at Bad Blood.

CM Punk kept his promise of making Drew McIntyre bleed during their grotesque Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood. But the aftermath of it saw McIntyre receive a total of 16 stitches on his head to close the wound. That didn’t sit well with former WWE star Ryback. He quoted a reply to Drew’s gnarly cut, saying whoever did that to him, i.e., Punk, is beyond reckless and very dangerous to work with.
As opposed to Ryback‘s sentiments, the fans believe Punk and McIntyre put forth one of the best HIAC matches WWE has ever produced. Yes, blood did play a major factor in turning the heat up a notch, but it was their mutual scorn for each other that stood out. What they did inside that caged structure was merely the culmination of a nine-month long vitriol.
After walking out of the cell, The Second City Saint fell to his knees. He was even made to inhale oxygen, knowing how gassed he was. Meanwhile, in the ring, Drew was still processing what had happened to him. What makes Punk’s victory even more special is the fact that he dedicated it to his cancer fighting friend.
I’ve never done this or anything close to this to any of my opponents. I would say whoever did this to him is beyond reckless and very dangerous to work with.
Ryback on X
All in all, the former Intercontinental Champion’s take on Punk seems half-baked and initiated to engender hate for the Chicagoan. However, those on social media haven’t taken too kindly of The Big Guy, reprimanding his cheap attempt of engagement farming.
In what could be an interesting tidbit for many, Ryback’s the same wrestler who lost to CM Punk inside Hell in a Cell when they met back in 2013. Over a decade later, Punk’s having the time of his career in WWE while Ryback’s apparently retired.
Whom would CM Punk fancy to win a wrestling match between Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian?
Before stepping inside Hell in a Cell with Drew McIntyre on Saturday, CM Punk joined 1035 KISSFM. During the conversation, the 45-year-old was asked to predict a winner if Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian were to have a wrestling match.

Without contemplating much, the former AEW star backed Swift over Kardashian. Someone who believes he’s like Taylor Swift for men, why would he go the other way around? Nonetheless, Punk’s beef with Drew appears to have been settled now.
The Best in the World could now shift his attention to bigger and better things on Raw. As things stand, Punk’s not expected to travel to Saudi Arabia for WWE Crown Jewel on November 2. It’d be interesting to see what’s next for him.
