A glance at Roger Federer’s heroics in the court
Roger Federer has been an unparalleled force in the tennis court and his credentials are eclipsing enough for any superstar. King Roger has clinched 20 Grand Slam titles, third in the list of all-time highest Grand Slam winners with Novak Djokovic at the top with 24 followed by Rafael Nadal with 22.
Federer made it to 31 Grand Slam finals which is inclusive of making it to 10 consecutive summit clashes. Federer also maintains the record of winning the Wimbledon for eight times which till date is the highest by any star taking to the court.
Federer called it a day in 2022 after persistent suffering with his knee. In fact, such was his relief that he told GQ’s Zach Baron that his farewell had come as a reprieve from his gruelling agony that left his knee rattled. His last contest came alongside one of his greatest foes of all time, Rafael Nadal where the duo teamed up against Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe in the Laver Cup.
