SAI Olympics Update: National Archery Camp begins from 25th August

The Army Sports Institute in Pune is set to host the national archery camp. The camp starts from August 25th as per the Sports Authority of India’s announcement. As the camp is officially for the Olympic-Bound athletes.
This includes 16 recurve archers, 8 men, 8 women, 4 coaches, and 2 support staff. But all of them would report Pune on the 25th August after which they have to go the pre-required 14day quarantine period.
Some of the archers selected have Olympic quota holders. However, Archers who would be joining the camp are- Tarundeep Rai, Atanu Das, B Dhiraj, Pravin Jadhav, Jayanta Talukdar, Sukhmani Babrekar, Kapil, Vishwas, Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat, Bombayla Devi, Ridhi, Madhu Vedman, Himani, Pramila Baria and Tisha Sancheti.
However all the practices will be done keeping in mind the social distancing norms as well as the health safety protocols. Not just during the quarantine period but also while the practices commences from the 9th September onwards.
