With the 2024-25 NFL season approaching, everyone wants to do better than how their previous season went. For the New York Giants, practically everything has to be better. But if one had to single out the player who needs a big turnaround season, it is QB Daniel Jones. But New Orleans Saints superstar DE Cameron Jordan isn’t convinced.

On Wednesday, Kay Adams shared a video where she asked the All-Pro DE to rank NFL QBs on a scale of one to ten. As he would not know who is coming up next on the list, he started conservatively. But when the time came for Daniel Jones, he said:

No way, no, (shaking his head). Eleven.

That instant reaction said it all. Cameron Jordan does not feel that Daniel Jones is worthy to be on any Top 10 list. A brutal troll when showing that players know how other players are.

In fact, Cameron Jordan placed rookie Jayden Daniels at 10, even though he hasn’t played a snap in the NFL. Jones seems to have a bad reputation in the league. Even his own rookie was at a loss for words after being drafted by the New York Giants.

Daniel Jones needs to perform at a level that justifies his salary and earns him the respect of fellow players. While it may not bother him now, the constant trolling from fans, the media, and even other players will eventually impact his mentality—and potentially that of his teammates.

Daniel Jones might be done if this season doesn’t work out

Daniel Jones is in a predicament. Up until the draft, most fans and analysts expected the New York Giants to trade for or draft one of the top rookie QBs. That did not happen, as statements from GM Joe Schoen confirmed that they will continue with Jones. However, that does not guarantee his future in the NFL.

If he again ends up making horrible plays like last season, his days will be numbered. He has Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito behind him chomping at the chance to snatch that starter job. If Jones has a bad day, they are the ones who could benefit, as the Giants might run out of patience even though they owe him a lot of money.

In fact, after this upcoming season, they can save a ton of money by cutting bait. That too, a post June 1 cut, which will save them enough to pay for a mid-tier quarterback who could possibly play better than him. Jones has to ensure that this season helps him stay in the league.
