Sam Allardyce appointed as manager of West Ham after sacking of Slaven Bilic

In what will be seen as a needless move, Slaven Bilic was sacked and Sam Allardyce was appointed in his stead for West Bromwich Albion. This comes a day after West Brom held Manchester City for a draw and frustrated them. The ex-England and West Ham manager takes charge of West Bromwich Albion on an 18 month deal immediately. West Brom currently sit at 19th place in the Premier League table.

Sacking Slaven Bilic is a wrong move and is reactionary at best

Sam Allardyce isn’t the best manager around and usually his teams finish around mid-table and sometimes lower. He was embarrassingly sacked after 67 days as England manager and one game as a sting operation blew the lid on his malpractices. He’s managed 5+ clubs in the Premier League and that shows his inability to be stay.

Slaven Bilic just came off one of the biggest upsets of the season West Brom drew with Manchester City. Immediately after the match news came that he was going to be sacked and Sam Allardyce was going to replace him. West Bromwich Albion has confirmed it an hour ago and Slaven Bilic has departed. West Brom next go up against Aston Villa at home and it will be interesting to see how Salm Allardyce manages the team.
