Ricochet allegedly had his last appearance on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. In an intense fight with Bron Breakker, Ricochet was rammed through the glass of a car backstage. However, some fans questioned the authenticity of his injury in a recent picture his fiance, Samantha Irvin, posted with him on social media. After receiving some backlash, the talented ring announcer vigorously addressed the situation.

Samantha Irvin took to Instagram and posted a picture of herself with Ricochet after the brutal segment involving Bron Breakker. She was very emotional while getting into the ambulance with him. When some fans claimed that the charismatic highflyer was not hurt in that particular picture, Irvin sent them a message through her Instagram story. The 35-year-old star clarified that it was a seven-month-old picture that she used and called those people crazy.

On the latest episode of Raw, Ilja Dragunov squared off against the 26-year-old star in a grudge match. After the former NXT Champion won, he decided to destroy The Mad Dragon. However, Ricochet halted his plan when he jumped out of nowhere, saving Dragunov in the process. The night didn’t end well for him, though, as Breakker once again wreaked havoc and seriously injured him.

Ahead of Raw, news started circulating on the internet that his contract was expiring, and he chose not to renew it. This was a concrete way to pull him out of the current storyline. Furthermore, he recently lost his Speed title to Andrade. Most likely, that was the last time fans saw The One and Only on WWE programming.

Ricochet could appear for one final match before his contract expires

Although many believe the June 10 episode of Raw might be his final appearance, they could still see him in WWE. Ricochet has been involved in a rivalry with the former NXT Champion for quite some time now. There is a possibility that the two superstars could face each other in one showdown.

The news of his departure from the Stamford-based company has garnered a lot of attention. However, the 35-year-old star feels that he could still leave some impact on the storyline before exiting.

Since the news of his contract expiration came out, Ricochet’s departure date from WWE has remained unknown. A few AEW wrestlers have already expressed their opinion on him joining the Jacksonville-based company on social media.
