Sami Zayn and Bobby Lashley’s banter on Twitter

The Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn and US Champion Bobby Lashley have taken to Twitter to exchange some friendly banter. The two wrestlers will be squaring off against each other at WWE’s upcoming PPV, Survivor Series.
The banter began with Zayn tweeting that the Intercontinental Championship is greater than the United States Championship. This was obviously intended to instigate Lashley ahead of their match.
Lashley was obviously not too pleased with the tweet. He responded to the tweet with a tweet if his own. His response was a mix of compliment as well as a threat. He also reminds Zayn that Lashley isn’t alone. Lashley reminded Zayn that he has deal with not just one but four members of The Hurt Business. If this is any indication, Zayn might be attacked by the other members of MVP’s stable during the match.
Sami Zayn just wants friendship with Lashley

The Intercontinental Champion might have realized that instigating Lashley isn’t a smart move. So he responded to Lashley’s tweet with a suggestion to skip the unnecessary insults and compliment the opponent instead.
Zayn referred to Lashley as “Sir” and even complimented him by calling him “jacked”. Zayn even suggested that he won’t insult his past in the military or call his family to the Thunderdome, like he did in their past feud.
But Lashley continued with his sarcastic responses. He complimented Zayn by calling him light footed. A sarcastic commented followed. Lashley said since he is light footed it will be easier for him to throw Zayn away like a rag doll.
The rivalry between the two Champions is getting really heated up. If their match is as heated up as their banter, it could easily be one of the best matches of the night.
Survivor Series airs live on 22nd November, 2020.
