Sami Zayn has come a long way from where he was two years ago. He was in the main event of WrestleMania 39 and won the Intercontinental Championship the following year. But exactly two years ago, the roles were reversed when Zayn became a heel and was involved in a rivalry with Johnny Knoxville. At WrestleMania 38, he fought against him in one of the most bizarre yet entertaining matches of the year.
The reigning Intercontinental Champion has been active on social media, promoting his comedy show in Toronto. It will take place on July 5 at the Danforth Music Hall. However, it seems that Johnny Knoxville was also keeping up with him, as he shared a picture of him on Instagram from Canada. Sami Zayn disclosed on X that he decided to take strict action by banning the “stalker” from his show.
Fans are already familiar with the rivalry between both stars during the WrestleMania season in 2022. Zayn was infuriated by the Jacka** star’s announcement of participating in the Royal Rumble match. After the former Bloodline member eliminated him from the match, he sought revenge by costing Zayn his Intercontinental title against Ricochet. They faced off in an Anything Goes Match at WrestleMania 38, which Knoxville won.

However, come Money in the Bank, Zayn has bigger things to worry about. For the past few weeks, Bron Breakker has been destroying opponents in his path to earn a title opportunity. They will wrestle in a singles match for the Intercontinental title in the champion’s home country. Only time will tell whether or not Breakker manages to walk out as the new Intercontinental Champion.
