This week’s Raw featured a blockbuster main event for the Intercontinental Championship. It was an all-out battle between young star Bron Breakker and veteran Sami Zayn – a 2 out of 3 falls match that became a nail-biting turn of events. During the match, ‘The Dawg of WWE’ smashed the former Intercontinental Champion into the barricades. Following Raw, Zayn broke his silence and commented on the serious spot.
Taking it to X, the 40-year-old posted a clip where Breakker threw him on the ringside. Sami Zayn wrote that this moment riveted his love for professional wrestling. He added that this spot shows why this act is serious and requires utter professionalism. The Underdog from the Underground also revealed that this was a moment where he was close to a life-threatening injury.

Moreover, the horrifying spot was not intentional. It turned out to be a little out of place, which led to the brutal landing of the former Bloodline member on Raw. However, even after the ebbs and flows, the Dawg of WWE came out victorious and successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship.
Following the match, the two stars had a respectful interaction, marking the end of the mega feud. Furthermore, Bron Breakker was celebrating his victory backstage. He was even interviewed, where he made some bold and audacious statements. It is going to be interesting to see where the paths of both stars will eventually lead from here on out.
Bron Breakker challenges John Cena for a match for the Intercontinental Championship
Bron Breakker is the next big thing in WWE. He has been praised by a lot of WWE veterans in the past and has been receiving a lot of appreciation on his current run. Now, he has yet again made headlines as he has issued a challenge to the Greatest of all Time, John Cena.
In an interview with MuscleManMalcolm, the Dawg of WWE stated that if the Cenation Leader has the bravery to step into the ring with him. He can just walk in and face him for the Intercontinental Championship. The former NXT Champion even pointed out that Cena has never won the Intercontinental Title in his career. Therefore, it would be an enticing opportunity for him as well.

The 16-time World Champion is going to be on his retirement tour in 2025. Fans would be sticking their eyes on this run as it can have some stellar matches. One of them might include, even Breakker. The 26-year-old is considered the next face of WWE. It would be an amazing opportunity for him to share the ring with the former face in a passing-the-torch battle.
