Apart from being a phenomenal professional wrestler, Samoa Joe has had multiple stints in the entertainment industry as well. He has appeared in several TV shows, movies like the Transformers franchise, and even video games. He is also famous for the role of Sweet Tooth in Peacock’s adaptation of Twisted Metal and recently had to change his appearance to play the character.

Samoa Joe was recently spotted at a fan convention for the show, signing memorabilia while sporting a completely bald look. The 45-year-old had to completely shave his head to portray the role of the mascot of the Twisted Metal series. The former Ring of Honor Champion has sported various looks throughout his wrestling career, including multiple different hairstyles.

Joe was at the peak of his time in AEW when he became AEW World Champion at Worlds End. Shortly thereafter, he entered a feud with Chris Jericho. The two took part in a Canadian Stampede Street Fight on the July 10th, 2024 edition of Dynamite.

During the match, Chris Jericho loaded his opponent into a forklift and drove him into a wall, rendering him unable to continue. Joe was then written off TV after the street fight so that he could take time off to shoot season two of Twisted Metal.

Wrestling fans are stunned after seeing Samoa Joe sport a completely bald look amidst absence from AEW programming

The wrestling world was completely taken aback after seeing Joe sport his current look. Although fans had seen the 45-year-old partially bald before, he had taken things to another level this time. Fans joked that seeing him like this had completely traumatized them and that they would never be able to look at him the same way again.

Netizens brought up how he was only one step away from becoming Jacob Batalon, the actor who plays Ned in the Spider-Man movies, part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They brought up how putting on a pair of sunglasses would make him identical to the Hawaiian actor. Others compared him to Wilson Fisk, AKA Kingpin, from Daredevil.

Many fans said that he now highly resembled Jon Moxley and may be looking to join his faction. The Blackpool Combat Club recently turned on Bryan Danielson. That being said, the former TNA World Champion could be a great addition to the former IWGP World Champion’s stable.
