Britt Baker made her return to AEW last month after spending nearly 12 months away from the company. She was one of the pillars of the women’s division in the early days of the promotion. Since her return, she has been involved in a feud with Mercedes Mone, and the two finally have an official date for their face-off.

Baker was part of a wrestling panel at the San Diego Comic Con. She was joined by her fellow co-workers like Will Ospreay, AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm, and AEW CEO Tony Khan. Mone and her new ally, Kamille, crashed the panel to taunt the 33-year-old.

Mone teased Baker after her beatdown on the latest episode of Dynamite. She claimed that the former AEW Women’s Champion would never be as good as her and said that she would never challenge for the TBS Championship. Further, the former WWE star said that she would face anyone at All In except her. The two superstars had an intense staredown and soon got into a brawl.

The AEW talent and Tony Khan separated the two wrestlers. The latter grew frustrated with these two arguing and bickering for weeks. Mone had won the TBS Championship at Double or Nothing, and these had been at each other’s throats since the Forbidden Door PPV. Enraged, he announced that Mercedes Mone will now face Britt Baker at AEW All In at Wembley. 

As things stand currently, only the AEW TBS Championship will be on the line during this match. Mone will retain her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship no matter the result of this match. However, similar to her match against Stephanie Vaquer, both titles may be put on the line as the company gets closer to the date of the show. Shortly after losing that match, the Chilean ended up signing with WWE.

Kamille debuts on the latest episode of Dynamite to help Mercedes Mone take down Britt Baker

The latest episode of Dynamite featured Britt Baker taking on Hikaru Shida in a singles match. She won by making the Japanese wrestler tap out to the Lockjaw. Shortly after, Mone came out to interrupt her celebration and rejected her challenge for the TBS Championship at All In.

Kamille then showed up to attack Baker from behind. She held her up in a backbreaker rack, walked around the ring, and spun her out with a powerbomb. Mercedes Mone raised her new ally’s hand, announcing to the world that the former NWA Women’s Champion was now going to be by her side.
