India’s ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has tied the knot with TV anchor and model Sanjana Ganesan yesterday. Bumrah is not with the Indian team that is competing in the ongoing T20I series in Ahmedabad. He had earlier left the test series citing ‘personal reasons’ which were later revealed to be his marriage. The same was kept secret however by Bumrah who himself did not confirm the same till today when he shared pictures and confirming the news.

Fans are overjoyed with the news and have started to have tried to find out details about Sanjana and her relationship with Bumrah. This quest has led to numerous old interviews and tweets between the two getting viral. The latest in the line is an Instagram post by Sanjana on Indian captain Virat Kohli.

“I wish, was shooting a segment with him. So we decided to carpool,” replied Sanjana in the comments when one of her friends asked if she carried him everywhere. Earlier, an interview of her with Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav’s tweet dropping a hint about the couples’ relationship were doing rounds on social media.

Jasprit Bumrah took to social media yesterday to announce the news of his wedding. He posted two pictures and wrote, “Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana.”

The wedding reportedly took place in Goa and was a close-knit affair with just about 20 people invited. Soon after the news of the marriage, congratulatory wishes have started pouring in for the newlywed couple.
