His performance against the LA Rams was mindblowing as he ended the game with 255 yards and 4 touchdowns. Just when one thought he could not top that performance, Saquon Barkley gave fans a ‘Hold my beer’ moment with his first quarter show in the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 16 matchup against the Commanders.

In just one quarter, Saquon Barkley has torched the Commanders’ defense as he has 109 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. The running back needed 7 carries to get to this number and that puts him at 1,797 yards for the season.

With yet another brilliant performance, Barkley is just making his case to win the MVP award stronger. He has had a lot of memorable moments this season from the monster game against the Rams to his reverse hurdle over a defender. Despite his heroics, he trails Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson in the MVP race.

The goal he is hoping to reach by the end of the season is to match or break Eric Dickerson’s 40-year-old record of 2,105 rushing yards, the most in a single season by a running back.
