With Week 10 of the 2024-25 NFL season in session, fans of football are looking towards the next highlight play. But they know all too well that after what they saw last week from Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley, the bar has been set really high.
High enough that his twin 360-degree spin moves, the second of which was the unreal hurdle, made him viral. Even stunning other sporting stars, celebrities, etc. It left his star teammates on the bench too shocked and unable to put sentences together after what they witnessed in real-time.
But it seems the NFL and their lawmakers were left with their eyes popping out too. The superstar running back was on the podcast Air it Out talking about the game in general and specifically the play. After describing it, host AJ Greene asked if Saquon Barkley was drug tested.
I got drug-tested right after the game.
Saquon Barkley said
The hosts split in laughter, knowing such a play would grab the league’s attention. They particularly look out for plays that do not look the usual. But this play was way beyond the usual, which meant he was going to go to the bathroom right after the game.

After this discussion, the hosts kept badgering Saquon Barkley to come up with a name for this play. Just as Odell Beckham Jr.‘s famous ‘The catch’. But the 27-year-old was humble enough to not fall for it, rather focused on how the team can play better.
Saquon Barkley will have all his teammates playing against Cowboys
After Saquon Barkley’s drug test, he also had to take time off from practice the following two days. He rested to help recover from the pounding he received. But other than that, the Philadelphia Eagles had some concerns about the rest of the roster, most notably, star wideout AJ Brown.

The All-Pro left their last game mid-way as he struggled with a knee injury. But as per the latest injury report, Brown has participated in practices. Other than him, important players such as fellow WR, DeVonta Smith, TE Dallas Goedert, offensive linemen Mekhi Becton and Cam Jurgens were all available for full practice.
Stud players on the defensive side also recovered from minor injuries they sustained in their last game. This indicates that the Philadelphia Eagles have all active players available to play. Quite a blessing, considering most teams struggle with health at this stage of the season.
Considering they will play an injury-depleted Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles have it easy this week. Coaches can keep substituting players and still go back home to win number seven. That rotation will also be necessary in keeping players healthy, especially with three tough matchups coming up next.
