Sarandeep Singh reveals how many servants work at Virat-Anushka home
Former Indian player and selector Sarandeep Singh spoke of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and praised the player for his benevolence. Singh said that Kohli is a good listened and is quite down to earth.
Despite being in the heaps of riches, Sarandeep Singh revealed that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma don’t have servants at their place; instead, they prefer serving food to their guests themselves.
‘There are no servants,’ says Sarandeep Singh
Recently, Singh revealed a very astonishing fact from the personal lives of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.
“At his home, there are no servants. He and his wife will serve food to everyone. What else do you want? Virat always sits with you, chats with you, and goes out for dinner with you. All the other players have so much respect for him. He’s very down-to-earth and strong-willed,” Sarandeep told Sportskeeda.
It came as a surprise when Singh talked of Virat’s listening traits and claimed that he is a good listener, for the latter is quite aggressive on-the-field.
“Whenever Virat comes, team meetings used to go on for 1, 1.5 hours. Virat is a good listener. I don’t know what people think about him.”
“If you see him in the matches, he’s always charged up while batting and fielding. So it seems like he’s always hot and arrogant, and doesn’t listen to anyone.“
“But no, he’s as down-to-earth as he seems aggressive on the field. In selection meetings, he was so polite. He always used to listen to everyone and then finally come to a decision,” Sarandeep said.
The former selector of Team India had featured in 5 ODIs and 3 Tests in the Indian jersey during his cricketing days.
As of now, Virat Kohli and co. are gearing up for the third Test, i.e. the pink-ball day-night Test against England at the Motera Stadium. The action will begin from February 24 in Ahmedabad.
