Dealing with multiple ups and downs, the former WWE star has made a name for herself as one of the most talented female talents across the globe. However, with only a few months left in her AEW contract, fans have remained curious about the diva’s next move, including a potential return to the WWE.
The former WWE-star was forced to call it quits from the company after a neck injury forced her to retire. However, she made a shocking return to rival brand AEW stunning the wrestling. However, it now seems the English star is reportedly heading towards WWE.
Speculations have increased after Saraya posted a unique phrase on her X account. The phrase and its connection with her past company has rolled many eyeballs on the internet. In her latest post on X, Saraya wrote, “Tear the stars out from the sky”, which immediately grabbed the attention of her fans.
To those who are unaware, the above lines are from Saraya aka Paige’s theme song during her time in WWE- Stars in the Night. The CFO$-produced track is quite popular among the WWE Universe and her fans alike. The reference to the song in her tweet makes a strong case for her return.
With her AEW contract expiring in September 2025 and a non-compete clause, if there’s any, Saraya’s WWE return could be just matter of months. The AEW star has been out of action since October which fueled speculations about her status with the company.
The UK native recently said that there is currently no place for her in the AEW programming. However, she was positive on continuing wrestling before she finally decides to hang up her boots.
Saraya Reflects on her time in AEW and Wrestling Career
The former AEW Women’s Champion in a recent podcast revealed about her time in Tony Khan’s promotion and wrestling as a career in general. Speaking on The Takedown on SI podcast, Saraya said she wanted to uplift everybody, and therefore was on a losing streak.

The Outcasts member also added that she knew her wrestling days were coming to end, and she could throw in the towel very soon. While away from wrestling, the AEW star was working on her book titled- ‘Hell in Boots’ which is slated to release soon.

Saraya Wants to face Mercedes Mone During Final Run in AEW
Saraya has expressed desire to face Mercedes Mone fka Sasha Banks before her contract expires in September. In a conversation with TMZ, the former WWE diva said she was ready to return to AEW television, but the management was still trying to figure out a way to sneak her in. The two share a long history when Saraya suffered a career-threatening injury after receiving a brutal kick from Mone in WWE.
