Saraya‘s career in professional wrestling has been a rollercoaster, marked by both triumphs and setbacks, including a forced retirement. She has competed in multiple promotions and has been with AEW since 2022. However, she may still be open to a potential return to WWE in the near future.
During a recent interview with TMZ, Saraya was asked her opinion on WWE signing a $5 billion deal with Netflix. She thought that it was amazing and was proud of anything that the promotion did. There was no ill will between her and the company as their split was mutual.
The 32-year-old was then asked if she would ever be returning to the company. She said that it could happen one day but did not want to say too much in case she got into trouble. However, she did express gratitude to the company for giving her the career that she has today.

Undoubtedly, WWE had invested a lot into making the erstwhile Paige a huge superstar. In fact, she still is the youngest person ever to hold the NXT Women’s Championship, winning it at the age of 20. Furthermore, she won the Diva’s Champion on the night of her main roster debut, pinning AJ Lee on the Raw after WrestleMania XXX. She is also the only woman to hold both these titles simultaneously.
Even before all this success in the Stamford-based promotion, a video showed her being over the moon after getting her first contract with WWE.
Saraya reveals her contract with AEW expires in September, unsure of future plans
During the same interview with TMZ, Saraya revealed some information that had fans on social media go wild with theories and speculation. She said that her contract with AEW comes to an end in September 2025. Saraya was still unsure whether she would stay with the company going forward. Perhaps she could shift to a different promotion in search of greener pastures.
Alternatively, the former AEW Women’s Champion may be looking to spend some time relaxing. It is heavily rumored that her busy schedule in wrestling was one of the main reasons for her recent breakup with her boyfriend, Ronnie Radke.
Now, wrestlers have a much tighter schedule in WWE than in AEW. This is due to house shows and a greater number of Premium Live Events held over the year. If she is looking for a lighter schedule, she might be looking to go to TNA. Alternatively, she could simply wrestle for independent promotions at her own convenience.
