Lorenzo Musetti defeated the 8th seed, Pablo Cuevas in straight sets in Round 1 at Forte Village. In the 2nd round, he defeated fellow Italian Andrea Pellegrino in another straight sets to move into the quarterfinals. In his second round match, the Italian dropped just 3 games en-route to his win.

Yannick Hanfman defeated Salvatore Caruso in straight sets in Round 1 and followed it up by defeating the 3rd seed and tournament favourite, Casper Ruud in straight sets in Round 2. The German dropped just 2 games in his victory over Ruud to set up a quarterfinal clash with Lorenzo Musetti.

The German has rediscovered his form at Forte Village after a few disappointing tournaments.
