By taking golf as his extracurricular ahead of the preseason, Sauce Gardner proved when he sets his mind on something, he is going to ace it. The star NFL cornerback has caught many eyes with his numerous social media posts swinging golf club. 

With his progress, Gardner even received a collaboration invitation from prominent golfer, Bryson DeChambeau for golf lessons. Since the New York Jets cornerback has been watching PGA YouTube, he has also received feedback on his progress. But he recently received a surprising request as a fellow NFL player Kyle Hamilton asked him for Golf tips. 

Seeing Hamilton’s request on social media, Gardner responded with a cheeky reaction, referencing the Minnesota Vikings safety’s alma mater, Notre Dame.

For context, athletes who graduated from Notre Dame are known for their exceptional golf skills. Hamilton especially is known to possess a surprising talent off the football field, his prowess on the golf course. The safety’s father, Derrick Hamilton is an accomplished golf legend with a 12 handicap, and Kyle has even defeated him in a golf contest. 

Kyle’s insane golf skills are also a source of amusement for his family. His father once even said it’s not “fun playing with him” because he is really strong in it. 

Sauce Gardner impresses Golf Pros with rapid improvement 

Lately, the Jets star cornerback has become addicted to the sport of golf as he has been spending most of his time ahead of the upcoming NFL season at the golf course. Though he is a rookie, his progress is commendable as believed by many Golf Pros, who even offered to coach the NFL player.

As he gains popularity among Golf Pros, Rickie Fowler expresses his surprised and impressed reaction seeing Gardner play golf, saying he likes the possibilities of it. 

PGA Tour’s new sensation, Will Zalatoris was also quite impressed with Gardner and even offered him some important advice to improve his game while appreciating his speed.
