Sauce Gardner drops concerning locker room news following blowout week 17 loss to Buffalo Bills
Sauce Gardner made it clear that he along with several other players may not be around for much longer in the Jets locker room after disastrous season.

Sauce Gardner has seen bad days with the New York Jets but not as bad as a 40-0 score after just over one hour of football. They weren’t the favorites against a supercharged Buffalo Bills side on a winning streak, yet it wasn’t expected of them to crumble under pressure at the Meadowlands.
Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw multiple picks before acting head coach Jeff Ulbrich replaced him with Tyrod Taylor in the fourth quarter. Taylor completed two touchdown passes to Garrett Wilson and Tyler Conklin to give Jets fans something to celebrate.
It’s a truly disastrous effort from a team that should be winning more games with talent around the roster. Gardner knows that very well, but at the same time, he can’t ignore the fact that the same team is 4-12 after sixteen games.
We, quote unquote, enhanced our roster in all areas [this year]. That just tells me we can’t be playing as a team; we’re probably just individuals. Last year, the year before, we had a roster that wasn’t as talented as this roster, and we found ways to beat the Bills. We found ways to win. What’s stopping that now?

"Embarrassing? I don't even know if that's the word. You're telling me now it's 40-0? If you ask me that means it's the end of the season, obviously we're not going to the playoffs, some people might be checked out." pic.twitter.com/YIfs06mx20
Sauce Gardner doesn’t know about his roster status next season
The team is bound to change next year. With Gardner’s contract running out, he isn’t sure if he will be around to see the Jets’ good days.

This locker room [may] not gonna look the same next year, in terms of players and coaches. I just try and give my all, for the organization, for my teammates, for my coaches. I told DJ Reed we might not play together again and forever that’s worth is that’s one of the things kept me going.

The former first-round pick logged three solo tackles and one pass deflection against the Bills, who dominated the Jets backfield. The reverse fixture back in the MetLife Stadium was much closer than Sunday’s matchup. Despite losing the game, the Jets put up a double-digit score. Gardner on that occasion logged four combined tackles and assisted 2 tackles for loss.
That result happened before the Jets added All-Pro receiver Davante Adams to end their offensive woes. However, they statistically became a worse team and risk ending the year with thirteen defeats with the Miami Dolphins waiting for them on the final day.
As Gardner mentioned, the Jets will see changes next year. It will start from the top with a new head coach and a coaching staff. Aaron Rodgers may not return, and as they hold the sixth overall pick, the owners could target a rookie quarterback to please the fans.
