Saurabh Netravalkar has been an absolute sensation in the ongoing T20 World Cup, spearheading the USA bowling attack from the very front and has been winning hearts of the cricket fans due to his performance.
However, like the way, cricket is celebrated in India, in USA, the stardom somewhat dips and that is exactly what makes Netravalkar pull off cricket alongside his daily job as a software engineer in Oracle.

In an interview given by his sister Nidhi Netravalkar, she said that despite all the huff and puff in the ongoing T20 World Cup, Netravalkar hasn’t exactly just been playing cricket. After doing the heavy lifting on the cricket field, Saurabh has been working out his office assignments from the hotel.
He's been very fortunate to have people who have always supported him throughout his career. He knows that when he's not playing cricket, he has to give 100 per cent to the job. So right now, when he's working, he carries his laptop everywhere. And he has the freedom to work from anywhere.Nidhi Netravalkar told CricketNext
Saurabh Netravalkar bowled that all-important Super Over to leave Pakistan rattled while claiming the big wickets of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the game against India. Such has been the magnitude of his dominion that USA may just qualify for the Super Eight, penning history and that too at the expense of Pakistan, which possibly be ranks as one of the most eye-catching upsets of all time.
A glimpse at Saurabh Netravalkar’s journey in cricket
Saurabh Netravalkar has formerly been a part of the Indian U19 team and he was born in Mumbai. In fact, he has also played for Mumbai in the 2013-14 Ranji Trophy while being a part of the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the same year.

However, when it came to making big in cricket, somehow Netravalkar couldn’t make the cut for the big guns and he chose to shift to USA to get a chance. Dreams do come true and that is exactly what happened when Netravalkar bagged a national team call for the USA, making his debut against PNG in 2019.
Since then, he has been a part of the USA national team alongside the Washington Freedom unit and has successfully carried on his job too at the Oracle. USA has now qualified for the next round, making Netravalkar a reckoning force for the USA national team.
