The Kansas City Chiefs’ success can be attributed to the unified locker room mentality, as the star defensive tackle Chris Jones– who was all over the headlines throughout the season for his accolades including All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection, doesn’t care about anything else except the Super Bowl.
After winning two consecutive Super Bowl rings and establishing the franchise as a dynasty in the NFL, the Chiefs set their aim even high for this season: the historic three-peat. While many were skeptical about their ability since they possessed the weakest wide-receiving squad last season, they invested all their energy towards it and it worked pretty well as they recorded the best season in the franchise history with 15 wins.
In addition to the team’s success, star defensive player Jones was honored with numerous accolades this season as he demonstrated his exceptional skills to overpower the opposing offenses and keep them at bay in scoring points. However, as he addressed the media ahead of the first postseason matchup, Jones asserted that all he cares about is winning the Super Bowl for the third time in a row and making history.

That said, the six-time Pro Bowler expressed his delight in earning the All-Pro, emphasizing that it represents the highest honor for his position. It became more special as it marked his third consecutive first-team All-Pro selection.
Chris Jones poised for playoff return after calf injury worries
Amid an outstanding season, the 30-year-old sent worries amongst the fans as well as his team after he sustained a calf injury in the Week 16 match against Houston Texas– their upcoming opponents for the Divisional Round. After missing two following games, the defensive star is all set to attack in the playoffs.
Jones was fortunate to get two more weeks of rest after Week 17, without missing a game. Head coach Andy Reid decided to rest all starters in the final week of the season as the team had already secured the No. 1 seed in the conference and a bye week in the playoffs besides the berth with a 15-2 record.
