With great surprise, the internet got to pile up their congratulations, until newfound information led to speculation. A woman who is reportedly Barnes’ high school sweetheart has bashed the NBA star for getting another woman pregnant.
In a recent video posted on TikTok, Scottie Barnes‘ alleged ex spilled the beans on the Toronto Raptors player. In a vague manner, the woman got to play a game of ‘put a finger down’, where one agrees or disagrees to the prompts by putting their fingers down, one at a time.
She rhetorically asked if somebody had ever found out that their high school sweetheart of six years, who broke up with them randomly, had ever gotten another ‘white girl pregnant’ months later. She also mentioned moving across the country to support Barnes in his career besides studying her masters. After this, the woman in the video put down her finger with sarcastic surprise.
The news of Barnes becoming a father caused a state of bewilderment on the internet because of his extremely private life. Despite that, the Raptors fans linked the 23-year-old with an individual named Alyssa Rae Holmes.
The latter posted a picture sharing her pregnancy news, which featured a guy’s hand although no faces were visible. Regardless, the fans put two and two together when Barnes ambiguously commented on the picture, indicating a future with Holmes while adding heartfelt emojis.
The comments were filled with congratulations mixed with perplexity. Neither of the individuals ever made their relationship known to the public. Further, fans noted that Holmes’ page did not have a single connection to basketball.
