Merab Dvalishvili dominated Sean O’Malley to become the new UFC bantamweight champion at Noche UFC. Though O’Malley raised questions about the judge’s decision, the majority of fans thought it was a clear victory for Dvalishvili. Since then, the fighter has been aiming for his title rematch and hasn’t missed an opportunity to mock the champion.

Dvalishvili recently got into a squabble with a fan who tried to tease him. As a result, the Georgian lost his control and tried to attack the fan but was stopped by security officials. O’Malley gave his opinion on the situation and managed to rip Dvalishvili’s behavior.

Merab just can’t quite seem to get out of trouble…Merab just doesn’t have any control over his little self.

It’s not the first time Dvalishvili was seen reacting violently to fans making fun of him. In the past, the fighter has been observed confronting hecklers instead of just ignoring them. Dvalishvili has a great sense of humor and often makes hilarious online skits. However, it’s safe to say that he doesn’t like being disrespected by anyone.

Dvalishvili also feels the same about his upcoming opponent, Umar Nurmagomedov, at UFC 311. The champion has called out the Team Khabib member for being disrespectful and plans to teach him a lesson. Ahead of the fight, fans are expecting an intriguing matchup between both superstars.

Merab Dvalishvili debunks Umar Nurmagomedov’s claims of not being disrespectful 

Initially, Merab Dvalishvili wasn’t happy about giving Umar Nurmagomedov a shot at the bantamweight title. According to the newly crowned champion, Nurmagomedov was not eligible for that opportunity. However, this resulted in a variety of back-and-forths between the two fighters on social media.

Finally, the UFC decided to schedule the bout at UFC 311 and held the press conference. During the conversation, Nurmagomedov rejected the idea of making any personal remarks on Dvalishvili. However, later in an X post, the ‘Machine’ proved his point with a compilation of Nurmagomedov’s past taunts. 

This guy is getting a gift to fight me – Didn’t move up the ranks on his own – just thru one ranked fight and a last name. He is a spoiled brat who continuously spews lies and disrespect. Tune in to UFC311 and he will get exactly what he deserves!

This rivalry has made the co-main event even more interesting than it was before. As expected, Dvalishvili has started using his social media antics to make fun of Team Khabib. Other than this fight, UFC 311 also features the mega lightweight title fight between Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan.
