Sean Strickland is undoubtedly one of the most controversial fighters on the UFC roster. The former middleweight champion doesn’t care about the consequences that follow after he makes his statements. Recently, the American fighter found himself in hot waters after he mocked the lightweight legend Khabib Nurmagomedov. 

A few weeks ago Khabib Nurmagomedov was kicked out of Frontier Airlines for allegedly not collaborating with them. According to the staff, the ‘Eagle’ was sitting on the emergency exit row, which made things complicated. Strickland recently commented on the incident and went on a racial rant on the fighter, making fun of his religion. 

I don’t even know how the f**k Khabib is allowed to get on a plane, my dawg. That man probably goes through f**king TSA, going tick, tick, tick. I thought 9/11 ended this sh**, dude. He probably have 10 million dollars, and you’re being a cheap mother****er on a plane?… He can’t f**king touch her…what if someone’s f**king eating a pork chop next to him, dawg? He’s not qualified.

Back then, Nurmagomedov made a public statement where he talked about Frontier Airlines discriminating against him based on race. The news made major headlines with many from the MMA community condemning Frontier for the incident. UFC CEO Dana White also roasted them, pointing out their stupidity.

However, it seems like Strickland shares a different opinion and his comments made it look like it was Nurmagomedov’s fault. The American fighter has had numerous beef with many fighters, but it was the first time that ‘Tarzan’ has mocked Nurmagomedov. As expected, many fans were not happy with the fighter for his bizarre statements.

Fight fans react to Sean Strickland’s latest comments on Khabib Nurmagomedov 

Previously, Sean Strickland had mentioned that he stays away from making jokes about Muslim fighters. However, things have changed since then, and it started with his beef with top middleweight Khamzat Chimaev. Strickland has accused the fighter of having a terrorist relationship and crypto scammer.

Recently, Strickland made fun of Islam Makhachev for his comments on moving up to the middleweight division. However, the Khabib Nurmagomedov slander did attract more criticism. Here are some of the most notable ones.

As expected, fans were mad at the American fighter and didn’t shy away from making fun of him. Others pointed out the ignorance of Sean Strickland about Muslim culture. Some mentioned that the ‘Tarzan’ just trying to be the next Conor McGregor by making such teenage jokes.
