Bryce Mitchell is undeniably one of the most controversial fighters on the current UFC roster. He is set to face rising featherweight Jean Silva at UFC 314, and their rivalry has recently intensified. The heated buildup has captured the attention of many fight fans, including Sean Strickland, who recently decided to weigh-in.
A few weeks back, Mitchell and Silva had their first press conference in Las Vegas where they exchanged multiple insults. Following the face-off, Mitchell has now expressed that he is having demonic dreams every night. After taking notice of the situation, Strickland shared his opinion on the Arkansas fighter, questioning his mental health.
I love Bryce…. don’t hold this against me but therapy would do him wonders. If everytime I had an Intrusive thought i thought, “oh it’s the devil”, i’d lose my mind. Intrusive thoughts aren’t the devil Bryce.. Probably just fight anxiety manifesting itself in fu***d up thoughts.

Strickland and Mitchell have a personal relationship and have spoken highly of each other in the past. Last month, Mitchell faced widespread backlash for praising Adolf Hitler and making anti-Semitic remarks. While many mocked the Arkansas fighter, Strickland did his best to support him as a person while firmly condemning his views.

Nevertheless, in a recent video, Mitchell expressed that in his dreams, he gets surrounded by demons who provoke him to anger. He even urged his Christian brothers to pray for him so that he could get a peaceful sleep. However, Jean Silva has a different theory to this which has further increased the tension.
Jean Silva reacts to Bryce Mitchell’s allegations
Bryce Mitchell has always been controversial when it comes to his beliefs and understanding. The Arkansas fighter has made some ridiculous comments about Earth being flat and gravity being fake. The rivalry between him and Jean Silva started when the Brazilian mocked Mitchell for his outrageous comments.

Silva is currently in red-hot form and his confidence is at an all-time high. He is well known for his sharp trash-talk and relentless social media roasts. This time also he didn’t miss the opportunity to use Mitchell’s own video against him. In a recent tweet, he doubled down on the mockery while asking him to be fully prepared for their upcoming showdown.
Bryce, two things, these are not demons, it's just you being afraid to face me and second about the beautiful women you have a hormone called testosterone and you probably have problems with it. Just be ready for April 12th, because I will be.

Other than the Silva vs. Mitchell fight, the UFC 314 fight card has some other intriguing fights. In the main event bout, former champion Alexander Volkanovski will take on young blood Diego Lopes for the featherweight belt. UFC veteran Michael Chandler will fight Paddy Pimblett in the another high-profile matchup.
Can Bryce Mitchell beat Jean Silva at UFC 314?
Bryce Mitchell had an incredible start in the UFC, winning five fights back-to-back-before losing to Ilia Topuria. The Arkansas fighter managed to bounce back only to get brutally knocked out by Josh Emmett. In his last outing, Mitchell picked up a knockout victory and is looking forward to carrying this momentum forward.

On the other hand, making his way from Dana White’s Contender Series, Jean Silva is on an incredible run. The Fighting Nerds star has knocked out all four of his opponents inside the UFC and has already become a fan favorite. Going into the fight at UFC 314, the Brazilian has a massive momentum that could help him against Mitchell.
