Season 2 of Fortnite: Chapter 3: Everything We Know So Far

Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 3 is soon here. With the first season halfway into its tenth week, it’ll only be a matter of time before the second season’s specifics are revealed. As usual, Epic is expected to introduce a few major gameplay tweaks, a new battle pass, and possibly new map locations.

Chapter 3 got off to a flying start, finally introducing Spider-Man, as well as a slew of new gameplay concepts including sliding and enormous item-spewing dinosaurs, as well as a brand-new terrain with wacky weather effects. Season 2 will have a lot of shoes to fill.

Of course, you’re probably just curious as to when the second season of Fortnite Chapter 3 will begin. That’s why we’ve combed the web for any season 2 leaks, speculations, or official teases. Season 2 start date, battle pass details, and more are all listed below, along with all we know (and everything we don’t, which could fill a book).

Start date for Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 3

Fortnite Chapter 3 season 2 is set to begin on or around March 20, according to information found on the season 1 battle pass page. It’s also worth noting that the 20th is a Sunday, implying that Epic may choose to begin Season 2 on a weekday after the 20th.

Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 3 has been leaked

Leaks have been scarce thus far, but HypeX, a reputable data miner, has identified a new tank vehicle called “TreadVehicle” that we believe will play a part in season 2. The vehicle is already there at Logjam Lumberyard, but it cannot be driven.

Another data miner, Tabor Hill, produced a video last month describing a possible fight between IO forces and the Seven.

“We’re going to be at, almost like a war with the IO people. The IO is coming back for revenge,” they said. “We flipped the map, we made them mad, the beehive has been hit. They’re coming for revenge. So if they’re going to fight us and the Seven, they’re going to need some serious equipment, something like [the drill].”

IO, according to HypeX, is tunnelling through the map to reach the side players and the Seven who are now present. They released a photo of five potential IO bases, which they believe will be preceded by earthquakes.
