Sebastian Kehl confirms Sancho is not leaving!

Jadon Sancho isn’t leaving Borussia Dortmund this season. Sebastian Kehl confirms the news. Sancho is linked with a move to Manchester United. However as things stand it looks like the England international will stay in Germany.

Borussia Dortmund are looking to hold on to the likes of Sancho. They’ve also signed young English talent Jude Bellingham from Birmingham. Sancho earlier said he has no intention of leaving.

Kehl said: “He is our player – and he will stay here. It was an important statement from the club, because we have a certain responsibility.  We agreed that we needed to show a certain stance. And 80 million euros is simply not enough for a player of his quality. We owed it to the club and the fans. Without Jadon this team is weaker.”

However Kehl understands that Sancho may leave in the future. That is why he says they have him for this season.

Yes, someday he might leave for a new challenge but right now he is happy at Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Dortmund is happy to have him. Jadon has trained well and professionally. He is happy to play football.”

Kehl also heaped praise on Sancho’s professional behaviour. He said Jadon respected the club’s deadline decision. Dortmund were adamant in their stance. If Manchester United can pay the release clause , Sancho is there’s.
