Sebastian Vettel will be Aston Martin’s ‘Hero’ Predicts Nico Rosberg

Sebastian Vettel experienced his worst season in 2020 as he claimed only 33 points and finished in P13 Position. As a result, his partnership with Ferrari ended, which saw his join hands with Aston Martin for the 2021 season. Heading into the 2021 season in just over a month’s time, former F1 Champion, Nico Rosberg revealed his thoughts on Vettel joining Aston Martin. 

Rosberg suggested that the experienced Vettel has the potential to become Aston Martin’s ‘Hero’ in the 2021 season. The quadruple champion brings immense experience and knowledge to the team. Team principal, Otmar Szafnauer, shares that Vettel is already involved with the team and helping Aston Martin with the process of making a comeback after six decades.

Rosberg said, “Sebastian needed a change. He was in a negative spiral at Ferrari, which was no longer a nice experience in the end. I am happy that he has now found a new opportunity.”

“At Aston Martin he will be the hero again and will be celebrated. With a success he can be the same again. He’s still one of the best of all time,” Rosberg explained. 

Earlier Otmar Szafnauer had exclaimed, “He has already instructed our race engineers on which data he needs to help us with the car set-up. He’s already helped us to improve the ergonomics in the cockpit. For example, where the switches should go and how they should be used to make the car easier to operate.” 

Aston Martin has stated earlier that they are excited to host the multiple world champion. Vettel at the same time is looking forward to making a comeback. After a woeful 2020 season, the German’s fans are waiting to see the champion rise again.
