Serena Williams‘ daughter Adira River Ohanian has made her Instagram debut. On Sunday (October 13), Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian launched Adira’s official Instagram account and posted adorable pictures. Adira has now joined sister Olympia on the Meta-owned app.
In the first picture, Adira can be seen sitting on a pink chair and eating food, while the second photo shows her sitting on a couch with her left hand in her hair. Adira can be seen smiling while holding a pacifier in the next picture, followed by a photo of her standing with her mouth open while holding two boxes. The last picture shows the child standing on a small white slide.

So far, Adira’s account follows four accounts – Williams, Ohanian, Olympia, and aunt Venus Williams. Father Ohanian wondered how Adira looked like Olympia as he wrote, “You sure these aren’t old @olympiaohanian photos!!!???“, while her mother Williams wrote, “So obsessed with you my love“.

Serena Williams talked about having Adira through C-section
Last month, Serena Williams opened up about giving birth to Adira. Olympia was born after an emergency cesarean section as her heart rate dropped during labor and this is why Williams wanted to be prepared for her second daughter’s birth as she decided to have the cesarean section. Williams revealed that she didn’t miss giving birth naturally because of pregnancy-related causes she dealt with during Olympia’s birth.
Looking back, I’ll never have that moment again. For whatever weird reason, that kind of makes me a little sad, but that’s probably a party of one. This time I went in with a plan. I like to say I put my best effort out there, and that was no different. I literally thought about it as a Grand Slam: ‘How can I succeed?’

Williams married Alexis Ohanian in New Orleans in November 2017 after the Reddit co-founder proposed to her in December 2016. Olympia was born in September 2017, while Adira was born in August 2023.
The 43-year-old, who retired after playing at the US Open in September 2022, has won 23 singles Grand Slam titles. In doubles and mixed doubles, she won 14 and one Grand Slam respectively. In her last match at Flushing Meadows, Williams lost to Ajla Tomljanovic in three sets in the third round.
