Serena Williams has been through a lot in the past few months. The 43-year-old recently had a benign branchial cyst removed from her neck. She recently shared some words of affirmation with her fans on social media, urging them to say it before going to bed.

Earlier this month, Williams revealed that she found a lump on her neck in May and got an MRI scan that confirmed the type of cyst. However, she didn’t get it removed immediately, which resulted in the cyst continuing to grow. After undergoing further tests, it was revealed that the cyst was the size of a grapefruit. Her doctor recommended surgery to remove it and prevent infection.

Williams has undergone the operation but hasn’t fully recovered. A few days ago, she admitted that she missed Rafael Nadal’s retirement announcement and Glamour Magazine Women’s event. This time around, she told her fans on X to chant some heartfelt words of affirmation before going to bed.
