Serena Williams’ ex-coach drops bombshell on Lauren Boebert’s claim of Donald Trump’s LA wildfires management

Serena Williams’ ex-coach, Rennae Stubbs, has made a name for herself by being vocal about what she stands for. On the political side, she has often reiterated her stance on democracy, while being a vocal critic of President Donald Trump. The experienced coach recently slammed a US Representative for applauding Trump for his efforts to control the disastrous L.A wildfire.

In January, almost half of Los Angeles was left in ruins after a scorching wildfire hit over 27,000 acres of land leading to the evacuation of more than 100,000 residents. The fire was driven by Santa Ana winds which destroyed 16,000 structures. The disaster left California Governor Gavin Newsom with no other choice than to seek federal government assistance.

Newsom requested nearly $40 billion in federal disaster funding to aid the recovery of the city. However, before the fire could be quenched, Trump signed an executive order that water be sent to the city. US Representative Lauren Boebert recently backed President Trump for supporting the people of California.

She said in a clip on Threads that the President’s decision to release water from the reservoir played a key control method against the wildfire. Rennae Stubbs then reacted to the claim by criticizing the representative statement.

Nonetheless, Rennae Stubbs has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump and his policies for a long time. Besides the former WTA player denying his role in the Los Angeles wildfires, she has, on several occasions, opposed various of his other decisions.

Serena Williams’ ex-coach, Rennae Stubbs, was recently taken by surprise after President Donald Trump appointed former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino to be the Deputy director of the FBI. Bongino, who has taken the role has no experience being an FBI agent or in major government functions that deal with investigating criminals.

In fact, he once ran for office but didn’t win. After his loss, he became a famous conservative commentator on TV shows and as a popular podcaster. Rennae Stubbs was not pleased after Trump announced him to lead the role. She took to Instagram to voice her frustration.

Stubbs has been without a coaching job since her stint ended in 2019 with WTA star Karolina Pliskova. The former WTA player has now taken to working with sports media platforms and has also established her own podcast.
