Serena Williams simply doesn’t have time to deal with the criticism she received due to her performance at the Super Bowl LIX. Inside Caesars Superdome, Williams crip walked to Kendrick Lamar‘s Drake diss track ‘Not Like Us’ and received praise from all corners.
But there were many who accused the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion of using the platform to take a massive jibe at Drake. The Canadian rapper reportedly dated her before she met her husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
Ohanian was actively defending his wife and also clapped back at ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith for his divorce remarks on the tennis great. When the world was dissecting her crip walk, Williams was engaged in her business, paying no heed to criticism whatsoever.
That there my baby daddy and husband. Always got my back. I Love you Gosh I’m so late to the game (I’ve been sick) & busy investing in billion dollar companies and running @WYNbeauty… def not dancing to be petty lol. I think I proved 23 times over (not counting 4 gold medals) that I simply don’t have time for petty. All love and respect always nothing negative here.

Serena Williams opens up about motherhood
Serena Williams, who married Alexis Ohanian in 2017 and gave birth to Olympia the same year and to Adira in 2023, retired from tennis at the 2022 US Open. Recently she expressed her love for motherhood when she sat for an interview with ‘Dinner with Gavin Rossdale’.

I love being a mom. I was definitely born to be a mom. If you thought I was born to be a tennis player, I was born to be a mom. I really believe in communicating in a loving way.
Serena Williams said
Williams also talked about how her parenting styles are different from her own parents. But the 43-year-old said she did a similar thing her father, Richard Williams used to do. She played a math song for Olympia which she had listened to when she was younger.
The tennis world is very well aware of Williams winning the 2017 Australian Open while she was pregnant with Olympia. Post-retirement, Williams, instead of chasing tennis balls, is chasing Adira and helping Olympia with tennis lessons. Apart from taking care of her family, she is also managing her business, including her beauty brand Wyn Beauty.
