“Not a narcissist, selfish man,” Serena Williams’ former coach Rennae Stubbs hails Joe Biden as he endorses Kamala Harris after withdrawing from presidential race

The 53-year-old also lauded Biden's decision to choose a woman as a candidate.

After months of pressure to quit the US presidential race, Joe Biden finally withdrew from it and instead endorsed Kamala Harris to lead as a Democratic candidate, a decision Serena Williams‘ former coach Rennae Stubbs wholeheartedly supports. 

Stubbs, who has been a vocal opponent of Donald Trump, seemingly compared Biden to the former US President, suggesting how the former understands why someone like Trump should never have absolute power. The 53-year-old also lauded Biden’s decision to choose a woman as a candidate.

Biden is a patriot. Not a narcissist, selfish man. He’s a good man who’s had tragedy in his life & has empathy! He also understands the importance of keeping a megalomaniac, narcissistic felon out of office!  He picked a woman, nominated that woman and i will support that woman!

And while Stubbs openly talks about her preference, her former protege Williams doesn’t take part in any political activities, for she was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness. But 18-time Grand Slam singles champion Martina Navratilova has been actively supporting Harris.

Rennae Stubbs would love to see women control the United States 

Rennae Stubbs is a vocal supporter of women’s empowerment and gender equality. And this is why she picked up some names from the Democratic Party and expressed her wish to see a woman become the president of the United States for the first time.

There are so many amazing women in the Dem party. Pick two women and let’s finally let women control this country! Harris with Whitmer, Gillibrand, Baldwin, Duckworth, Smith to name a few! I would love to see women rule!

If Harris wins the race against Donald Trump, she will script history by becoming the USA’s first female president. Trump served as the 45th president from 2016 to 2020 but lost to Biden in the 2020 election. 

And about Stubbs’ career, she is a former doubles No.1 (reached the top spot in 2000 for the first time) and won four doubles Grand Slam titles, including two Wimbledon victories. Stubbs also lifted two major trophies in mixed doubles matches. 

In Grand Slam singles events, she gave her best performance by reaching the second round of the Australian Open and Wimbledon multiple times. The 53-year-old coached Serena Williams in 2022 during the latter’s final Grand Slam event at the US Open.
