Serena Williams‘ husband, Alexis Ohanian, took a hilarious dig at former American President Donald Trump over his claims that immigrants were eating dogs and cats in the state of Ohio. The Reddit co-founder jokingly reassured his pet dogs of their safety while mocking the Republican Presidential candidate’s unsubstantiated claims.
Trump had his first debate with Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, in Philadelphia on Tuesday (September 10). During the intense debate, Trump and Harris were asked what they would do about the immigration issue.
Trump spoke about how Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio were eating dogs and cats. He tried to point out that the immigrant’s actions were a result of the Democrat’s failure in dealing with immigration issues.
However, it wasn’t effective as Harris laughed upon hearing the 78-year-old’s wild remarks. A user on X shared the clip and made fun of Trump’s statement.

Alexis Ohanian then took to his account in reaction to Trump’s claims about immigrants and stated that he would give his dogs extra hugs and jokingly promised not to ‘eat’ them.

Ohanian is a supporter of the Democrats and has always backed Vice President Kamala Harris’ views on social media. On the other hand, he is also a strong opponent of Trump’s policies and beliefs.
