The face of US gymnastics has ensured that the Bercy Arena, where the sport is taking place, remains jam-packed with fans including A-list stars and legendary athletes themselves.

At the Paris Olympic finals of the female gymnastics round, the audience, with the likes of Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, Serena Williams, and Michael Phelps were present to witness Simone Biles create more history with her fifth gold medal.

Michael Phelps and Serena Williams, who are former Olympic champions, seemed more enthused about Biles as she performed her routine in the finals.

Phelps was locked in and kept cheering for her from the stands. Serena watched Simone Biles and Team USA perform their gymnastics routine with her daughter Olympia sitting on her lap.

After Simone Biles completed her routine on the uneven bars, her smile was a clear indication to the audience that she was relaxed and ready to secure her fifth gold medal.

Michael Phelps gave her a standing ovation after her routine on the uneven bars and clapped with his arms raised high. The swimming legend made sure to catch this moment on video as he taped it on his cell.

The likes of Spike Lee and gymnast Nadia Comaneci were also present in the crowd. Nicole Kidman showed up with her husband Keith Urban and her two daughters Isabella Jane and Sunday Rose, the actress attested to being “excited” to watch Biles in action.

Serena Williams sat next to none other than Tony Estanguet, the Chief of the Paris Games. She had a memorable week serving as the torch-bearer last week.

Jonathan Owens, the safety for the Chicago Bears and the husband of Simone Biles made it just in time to Paris to be there in attendance to support his wife at the women’s finals. He was granted a leave from the team to be present alongside his wife at her biggest moment. He was seen sitting right beside Biles’ parents Nellie and Ron Biles.

Simone Biles was in the lineup for all four events of the team finals despite her calf injury. She sustained a left calf injury during warmups in the qualifying round on Sunday.
