American tennis legend Serena Williams was in no mood to stop as she lit the stage with her jokes at the 2024 ESPYS. Starting the event with a monologue speech, Williams took a potshot at Drake for the rapper’s feud with Kendrick Lamar. Williams also warned everyone about a picking fight with Lamar as “he will make your hometown not like you”.

The 42-year-old kicked off the event with a series of jokes as she celebrated the success of different sports in the past two years. Williams straightaway jumped to her first joke of the night as she shared a lesson she learned in 2024.

The WTA tennis legend said that the most valuable lesson she has learned this year is that no one should pick a fight against Lamar. The tennis legend also broke into crip dance as Lamar’s “Not Like Us” played in the background.
