Seth Rollins, almost 40, doesn’t have a decade of wrestling left in him. He’s one of those WWE lifers that are expected to segue into a backstage role after hanging up the boots for good. Rollins has an eye for talent, and he recently singled out some young cats on the main roster whom he believed are pegged for eventual greatness.

Speaking on ESPN‘s First Take, ‘The Visionary’ noted that WWE has an incredibly young but talented crop of stars right now. All of them, Rollins included, have come through NXT, and they’re ready for that next leap, added the 6-time world champion. Coming to the names that the 39-year-old mentioned, he brought up his former protégé Bron Breakker.

‘The Architect’ specified that he’s a Steiner kid, so he’s got those genetics in his DNA. The former Shield member also took the names of Logan Paul and Austin Theory, both of whom make up half of the Vision faction that’s been wreaking havoc on Monday nights for quite a while now.

Next, Rollins turned his attention to Je’Von Evans, who’s referred to as the bouncy kid. The Chicago Bears fanatic affirmed that he’s been enjoying Evans’ work. Last but not least, the erstwhile ‘Monday Night Messiah’ hailed the current US Champion Carmelo Hayes as incredible.

Melo has found his mojo on SmackDown ever since capturing his first singles title on the main roster. The fans may heavily concur with Seth Rollins‘ assessment of future stars in WWE with the exception of Logan Paul, who hasn’t been able to win over the core wrestling audience but is constantly striving to do it.

Seth Rollins denies rumors of his WWE return at the Royal Rumble this weekend

Seth Rollins has set the record straight on his participation in this year’s Royal Rumble match. In the aforementioned conversation on First Take, ‘The Visionary’ said he’d like to pump the brakes on it by outright claiming that he isn’t going to be partaking in the coveted 30-man over-the-top-rope bout due to the torn rotator cuff injury that he’s still recovering from.

When asked if he was just saying so to not give it away, ‘The Visionary’ laughed by replying that he had no problem giving it away because the doctors wouldn’t clear him yet. Rollins mentioned that he’s still two months out from a return to the ring. Considering it to be the timeline for his comeback, the Iowa native shouldn’t be expected back before late March.

Since WrestleMania this year falls on April 18 and 19, it would provide a near three-week window to the company for integrating Rollins into a feud if WWE doesn’t want him sitting out of its biggest show of the year. Before blowing out his shoulder against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, the ‘Drip God’ was rumored for a Roman Reigns showdown at WrestleMania 42.

The men’s world title matches for both nights are quite unpredictable at this point in time. It got even more complicated after Seth Rollins sustained that rotator cuff injury. His availability for WrestleMania wouldn’t be known until a few weeks before the event. Also, it’s unclear if WWE would insert him in any high-profile feud just days before Mania even if Rollins does get the medical clearance.

Although it would make sense for Rollins to go after Bron Breakker after coming back, the elements leading to that would be the ones worth looking for. ‘The Architect’ would definitely be gunning for revenge on Breakker and Bronson Reed for attacking him back in October to disband their alliance.

At one point, some fans on social media were speculating about a triple-threat world title match at WrestleMania 42 where CM Punk would be defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker, should he win the Royal Rumble match, and Seth Rollins if he made it back in time.
