The Indianapolis Colts edged the Chicago Bears 21-16, opposing a late surge by the visiting side at the Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Longtime Bears fan Seth Rollins was there in person and got on the wrong side of proceedings. In a clip that’s been making the rounds on social media, the WWE Superstar could be seen dumped onto the field by none other than former Colts wide receiver, T.Y. Hilton.
Embarrassed by his fate, Rollins took to X to reiterate that he hates football. The post he made was not only about playfully getting knocked off the railing on the turf, but it’s also meant to grieve the Bears’ second consecutive loss in the ongoing NFL season. One might wonder what led to Colts alum Hilton laying his hands on Seth Rollins.
The Visionary initially sported an Indianapolis Colts jersey as if he were supporting the home team. However, once he was shown on the jumbotron, Seth pulled off the ultimate heel move to rip the Colts tee apart, revealing one that had Bears QB Caleb Williams‘ name on it.

Rollins is now ruing the day, as even the first overall pick for the Bears this season couldn’t avert the catastrophe. When football’s on, WWE Superstars have their reasons to be elated or mad at it. For instance, a few days ago, current SmackDown star Angelo Dawkins posted his disappointment as the Cincinnati Bengals opened their season with a loss.
Dawkins couldn’t resist sharing a selfie in which he could be seen distraught at the side’s performance. He was then trolled by one-half of The Usos for getting spanked by The Bloodline the previous Friday on SmackDown.
Why Seth Rollins hasn’t been in WWE of late?
A few weeks ago on Raw, Seth Rollins endured a beating of his lifetime. He was blindsided by “Big” Bronson Reed, who delivered half a dozen tsunamis on The Architect. Rollins was coughing blood and had to be stretchered out of the arena.
Later on, it was reported that the onslaught was a way to write Seth off television. He was dealing with a chronic injury, and WWE thought it’d be the perfect time to give Rollins a breather before the company embarks on its road to WrestleMania.
There’s no word on when the former 5-time World Champion will be back, but it shouldn’t take long. Seth is believed to renew his rivalry with CM Punk once The Drip God is good to go.
