Following his actions at Money in the Bank, CM Punk kicked off the latest episode of Raw. Addressing what transpired at the event, he explained that Drew McIntyre deserved everything that happened to him. Moments later, Seth Rollins interrupted The Second City Saint. The former was collateral damage from Punk’s attack on Saturday. Therefore, he warned his longtime nemesis and vowed to come after him.
At first, The Straight Edge Superstar tried to reason with Rollins. In fact, he had seemingly issued an apology for screwing The Visionary as well at Money in the Bank. However, it turned out to be a ruse, as Punk felt no remorse for his actions. In response, the former Shield member berated the Best in the World as he promised to avenge his loss.

Seth Rollins claimed that he would put the former WWE Champion on the shelf again after he’s medically cleared to compete. The compelling segment added another layer to the rivalry between the pair. Since CM Punk‘s return to WWE, The Architect has been vocally open about his feelings for the 45-year-old wrestler. Therefore, it seems that the eventual payoff to the feud isn’t far away from here.
Speaking of the Money in the Bank screwjob, Punk returned to brutalize Drew McIntyre. Thwarting his cash in, the Voice of the Voiceless helped Damian Priest retain his World Heavyweight Championship. Furthermore, he screwed Rollins, who was also involved in the bout. With that said, only time will tell how things unfold for the former AEW wrestler in the coming weeks.
CM Punk asked Adam Pearce to lift Drew McIntyre’s suspension on Raw
Prior to the heated CM Punk-Seth Rollins faceoff, the Chicago-born wrestler spoke about Drew McIntyre. Punk expressed his desire to inflict more pain on his rival. To do so, he asked Raw General Manager Adam Pearce to lift McIntyre’s suspension. The latter was reprimanded for ambushing the WWE official during the Money in the Bank post-show.

Later, in a backstage conversation, Pearce said that he would consider bringing The Scottish Warrior back. However, he ordered Punk to stay home to avoid any further damage. Despite The Second City Saint giving his word, it is unlikely that he won’t show up on next week’s episode of Raw.
Although he hasn’t received medical clearance to compete inside the ring, many are expecting the duo to square off at SummerSlam. Nonetheless, fans will have to wait and see what transpires next week when McIntyre returns to the red brand.
