After splitting from her ex-boyfriend, soccer player Gerard Piqué, due to the latter’s extramarital affairs, Shakira experienced a “really hard time,” to the extent that the Colombian singer required counselling.
Spanish journalist Jordi Martn revealed it to RCN Mundo from Barcelona, saying that Shakira is “devastated” by the breakup because Pique’s adultery was unexpected and appears to have been ongoing.
“I can say that Shakira is in a terrible emotional state right now. A Gerard Piqué like this was never anticipated, said Martin, spilling the beans on the couple’s secrets both before and after her breakup. She has even needed psychological support. Before the trial, she must attend for alleged tax evasion, Jordi Martin, who claims to be close to the artist and others in her social circle, bemoaned the circumstances the artist is going through in her family and with justice.
“My friendship with Pique and Shakira dates back twelve years to the day they started dating, which was their first-day spending time together in Ibiza. Jordi Martín assured that Pique would have started his infidelity in 2016, “In a television program I warned Shakira and said ‘eye, Gerard is hitting her from behind. And it is true that when I said that on television, I did receive a serious warning“.
It is obvious that I have taken a position in Shakira’s favour. In this instance, Piqué and I have a terrible relationship because of my long-standing animosity for him.
