Shaquille O'Neal talks about how he can still be dominant in today's NBA.

Recently, Shaquille O’Neal was a guest on the YouTube show, “Pound 4 Pound with Kamaru & Henry.” There the topic of him being one of the most dominant big men in the league came up. Big Shaq, in response, talked about how he would cope in the current league if he were still actively playing.
The conversation was initiated by MMA legend Kamaru Usman, who said Shaquille O’Neal can probably do the things that are now being done. Shaq agreed and said that players have gone soft over the years.
I could average 30-40 in this league today cos one they don't like to fight, they don't like to bang.Shaquille O’Neal on Pound 4 Pound with Kamaru & Henry
There’s no doubt that Shaq was a dominant center during his time and was a force to be reckoned with throughout his career while winning multiple league titles. Whether or not he survives in today’s modern league is anyone’s guess.
He played in the NBA for 19 years with six teams, with his time with the Purple and Gold considered his prime years. During that period, his relationship with the late Kobe Bryant gave the league its dominant duo at the time.
Shaquille O’Neal credits Kristaps Porzingis for the Celtics win over the Miami Heat
The Boston Celtics avenged their home loss against the Miami Heat in Game Two by getting a resounding victory when they visited the Kaseya Center last night. Shaquille O’Neal, by halftime, already had a strong conviction that it would be a difficult night for the Heat.
The four-time NBA champion noted that the C’s were dangerous when Kristaps Porzingis was playing well, as he ended the night with 18 points, five rebounds, and two assists in the 104-84 on-the-road win.
When he has high numbers, they are most likely going to win all the time… He’s a Cadillac player; he can go inside or out … Again, when he plays well, when he’s that third guy averaging in low 20s, possibly high 20s, they are very tough to beat.

Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum had great games as they led their team to take the series back into their hands. However, Big Shaq had a tough time seeing his former team struggle. The big man may have wished to join them and, hopefully, put his money where his mouth is and score the 40 points he thinks he can in the league this period.
